Frost Smear Spread From Senate Office

McConnell aide admits spreading blog smear to reporters.

Here's what's missing from the story: That aide says he saw the story on the blogs, then pointed reporters to it. But that same aide probably fed the info to the blogs in the first place. Pure speculation on my part, but how did those bloggers get that financial information on the family so quickly? Would the average Joe get it all that fast? No way. They got help.

They Should Be Registered as a Hate Group

The frothing continues, and continues to be noticed (this time in the NYTimes).

And it gets even uglier:

Mounting evidence suggests that the right-wing smear campaign may have been orchestrated by a staffer in Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) office.

An aide to a senator, or a senator himself, may have helped initiate the attacks. Beautiful.
