"Peter Yarrow Sleepwalks Into Tony Kornheiser's House"
Okay weirdest story ever. Yarrow, of Peter, Paul & Mary fame, had just gotten off a flight from Israel, the story says, and was disoriented. He ended up in sportswriter, radio host, and ESPN host Tony Kornheiser's house. Must have been a treat for Kornheiser. They apparently discussed the incident on the radio show:
What qualifies as a brush with fame for a folkie like me: I met Peter Yarrow a couple of times at the Kerrville Folk Festival, which he's been a part of for over three decades. Not a hard thing to do; Yarrow wanders around and hangs out just like the rest of us schleps.
The Kerrville Folk Festival, by the way, is the Mother of All Folk Festivals in the U.S. Go. Stay for weeks. It's a one of a kind musical experience.
Kornheiser: “When did you sense that something was wrong?”
Yarrow: “When your wife came out in that extraordinary negligee.”
