We're Ready For the Chinks!

Holy crap. The Spanish women's tennis team actually put this photo on their Web site. It was captioned "We are prepared for China." These guys stuck a similar pose.

You'd think that at least one of them would say, "Uh, maybe this isn't such a good idea." But no.

Digg!

It's a terrible idea and the fact that they all went along with it is very disturbing. Maybe they won't even get a medal. Deserving if not.

The second link tells me a lot as well... Spanish sport has been placed under severe scrutiny for a number of recent incidents, including the monkey chants aimed at England's black football players by football fans at a November 2004 friendly international in Madrid, for which the Spanish football federation was fined by world governing body Fifa. Former national team coach Luis Aragones also caused controversy by remarks about France striker Thierry Henry.

What the hell is wrong with the Spanish athletes? I don't know any spanish speaking peoples, and I know many, that would even imagine doing this... It is as if a bunch of second graders are in their bodies. Damn...

Those chants were done by fans, not athletes, just to be clear.

And, uh, I just don't get it either. It's like they fell out of a space ship last week.

Space ship is too advanced for their behavior. Maybe they were zapped by a superior race of mites...?
