[Possible] Cancer Cluster at NASA: 40 Afflicted

Dozens of the employees fear that their cancer was triggered by years of working in the developmental engineering building, NewsChannel5 reported.

The union that represents hundreds of scientists and other workers said nearly half of the 100 employees on the third floor of the building have been diagnosed with various forms of cancer in the past three to four years.

The "developmental engineering building." One can only imagine.

I added the "possible" to the title since the article sites reports that say the rates are within normal range (based on questionnaires filled out - or not, apparently - by the employees). 40 out of 100 in four years is "in the normal range"? Wow. I'm thinking we'll hear more about that.

More here.
